Commissions
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING LIMITED COMMISSIONS FOR 2023
Whether you are purchasing art for yourself or for someone special, there are many important considerations to be made. Throughout my process, my main goals are to make the experience of buying art accessible, keep open communication from beginning to end, and deliver a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Because I consider my painting practice sacred, my commission process is collaborative to an extent. I approach each commission as a blend of my creative practice and your story. Together, we will collect inspiration from various works, colors, reference images, and compositions. I will then take these to my studio to work.
To ensure I can dedicate ample time and energy to each painting, I accept very few commission projects per year.
Questions are encouraged and always welcomed - ultimately, I am here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions…
What is the payment structure for commissioned work? Payment Terms are 50% of the commission cost is due before the creative process begins and is non-refundable due to the nature of the work. The remaining 50% is due before the work is shipped or at the time of delivery or pick-up. Shipping is the responsibility of the client and is invoiced separately. Payment plans are available upon request.
What payment methods do you accept? Payments are made directly through Stripe. You will be emailed an invoice that you can pay directly with any major credit card.
What is the typical timeline for commissioning a painting? Turnaround time is roughly 6-12 weeks, depending on the number of commissions, projects, the size and complexity of the work, framing options, and shipping time. Please note that oil paintings take a few weeks to dry before shipping.
Do you offer framing? I do offer add-on frame consulting and service for an additional fee.
How do you ship? I typically ship via UPS. Larger paintings ship freight or need to be crated. The client is responsible for all shipping costs. If you are local to York, Maine, we can arrange for you to pick up your painting at my studio.
How much is shipping? This depends on your location and the size of the painting. I will provide you with a quote prior to beginning your painting.
